And then we went swimming
Swimming bare under that moon
With the starlight
Being what we really bathed under
Dancing fireflies circled
And you
And I
Our bodies met
We made a promise
That next day at noon
We decided to meet
Bare under the moon

I'm toying with the idea of writing my own rock opera. With that idea, I'd like to follow Green Day and make at least one song (probably just one) that's a multi-parter, like Jesus of Suburbia, Homecoming and American Eulogy. This little bit would be part of that longer, multi-part song.

I got the idea from BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. In the Manga, they refer to a song called Swimming Bare Under The Moon (changed to Moon on the Water in the Anime).

I have some more lyrics on my laptop, actually, but just like this they really aren't complete. If you'd like to read 'em, just tell me.

You should really put that to music. I would listen to it

I'm working together with my sister and her husband with my lyrics, trying to put them to music. So one day, hopefully =)

You would be really good at it. What genre would you like to write for
:iconartmastergio:
Haha, I don't think I'd be all that good, not just yet anyway. I need lots of practice. I'd probably write for rock or punk rock, or for something for my sister to sing.
